Part of our history
At ConWiro, we believe that the biggest dreams can emerge in the most unexpected places. Ours began in Old Havana, Cuba, where a group of young people passionate about video games decided to break down barriers and build what didn't exist then: a local, professional, independent, and sustainable video game development industry.
In 2017, despite technological limitations, a lack of connectivity, and an unfavorable environment for entrepreneurship, we founded the first Cuban studio to monetize video games through microtransactions. What began as an ambitious idea became a platform with real impact. With titles like La Pira, X-Tellar, and Paketown, we built a community of over 1.4 million users and developed an unprecedented monetization system in the country.
In 2021, we decided to take a firm step into the international market. We invested in emerging technologies like blockchain and NFTs, and developed Mech Infinity, a game still evolving, which led to our selection from over a thousand proposals to participate in the Axie Infinity Builders Program. This experience marked a turning point for ConWiro and prompted us to establish our headquarters in Spain, with the goal of scaling our vision from Europe to the world.
Today, ConWiro is a globally focused studio specializing in the development of gamified experiences that integrate narrative, competitive gameplay, and innovative design. In 2024, we signed a strategic alliance with the Kings League to develop its official video game, a project supported by leading figures in the sports and digital ecosystem.
During this time, we closed two rounds of investment, marking a milestone in our expansion and reaffirming investor confidence in our business model. The results came quickly: the game reached the top two downloads on major app stores, surpassed only by EA Sports FC. With solid KPIs and an average rating above 4.5 stars, we validated not only the product but also its scalability and global appeal.
Our work has been recognized by top-tier institutions and accelerator programs, including initiatives like Madrid in Game, Plug and Play, and F2P Campus. Furthermore, we have received awards in categories such as innovation and business, and nominations for best mobile game at the Iris Games industry awards, reinforcing our commitment to excellence and disruption within the video game industry.
ConWiro is the result of perseverance, adaptability, and the ambition to transform an industry from the ground up. Our purpose remains unchanged: to create memorable experiences, connect communities, and leave an authentic mark.

ConWiro was born from the perseverance, constant adaptation, and ambition of a committed team . We remain true to our purpose: to create memorable video games, connect communities, and generate a lasting impact on the industry.
